I got my nose pierced about two weeks ago and I absolutely love it. Right now I have a small clear diamond nose screw it it and it is healing beautifully. No irritation or swelling whatsoever! But I am taking really good care of it. I have a few questions about studs and such. 1.) Which studs are better? Screws or Bones? I don't like the rings-just the studs. Also, what is bioplast? I was shopping for a few studs and saw some made of bioplast. Has anyone tried this and how are they? Are they more comfortable? And, the stud I have in now is an 18 gauge. I was shopping for more studs for after the piercing heals, but I can only find 20 gauge. Is this okay? Or is it best to stick with 18?

Whether you wish to go with a nostril screw, or bone is up to you, it's complete personal preference. When I had mine done, I loved the screws, some friends of mine can not stand them. Just try both. And I do not blame you for wanting a CBR (captive bead ring) I never like the look of those either!
20 gauge is fine. It is smaller. Many times, a piercer will pierce you with a size or two larger than "standard" this is to allow for healing of the piercing more comfortably(which you sound like you are doing great on) which is why you now have an 18 in you.
I do not know what Bioplast is, you should research it with the link the other answerer provided for you, it may be something great, or not. All I can tell you is that Surgical Steel is the absolute best to put in your body as far as body jewelry goes. Virtually no one has any reaction to it--think about it, it is the same material used for surgical instruments!!!

probable a nostril piercing because of the fact the place I stay abdomen button piercings are quite undemanding and nostril piercings look great (i'm speaking in regards to the area of your nostril in case you propose the interior then abdomen button because of the fact the interior piercings make you look like a bull)

if the bones are the ones with the little round thing on the bottom then go for that! my cousin got her nose pierced she's 17, she prefers the ones with the little round thing on the ends...she says they are better
