and I have not heard a peep from any centrist candidate. It seems they are all to the left or to the right. They are too much for me. I don't like every candidate to preach all this radical change. Sure we need changes and we need some things to just stay as is but who is there to vote for next year?

Check to see if your state has open or closed primaries. Open primaries, will let you vote for any parties primary, where closed states will only let you vote for canidates of your chosen party. http://www.fairvote.org/?page=1801 shows the chart for the states.

If you do not feel like you fit into any of the larger parties, look into the green party, libertarian, constitutionalist, for other options.

In a closed primary, you have to choose your party. So most people pick the side they lean towards the most. You are free to switch sides at any time, so you are not locked into your decision. Rules vary by state.

On the national level, I am somewhat of a constitutionalist, wanting to defend our civil liberties, transfer power back to the states, and uphold the constitution of the United States. On a local level, I tend to be more liberal. Because most of our daily lives are controled by local and state government, mayoral elections, governer elections and such are almost as important as presidential. (if our constitution was upheld like it should of been.)

Even though I am a registered democrat, I intend on voting for Ron Paul for the primary (and presidency). Defending our constitution should come before anything and everything else. Once we have restored the balance of power, and once we have restored our civil liberties and our constitutional rights, we can then work with our state and local governments on the liberal policies we wish to have in our locality.

Ron Paul is the only canidate whose primary focus is on restoring our constitution. Restoring our stolen freedoms. Ending the unconstitutional unwarrented searches & seizures. Ending the unconstitutional IRS & Federal Reserve. Following the consitution and returning powers designated to the states, back to the states.

therealnews.com will be broadcasting soon on the web, and already has tons of news footage, interviews and video clips both on their site and on youtube for more views of the world today.

As long as you educate yourself on the people and the issues, and as long as you follow your heart, it doesnt matter what party you belong to. Just as long as you do make it to the polls and vote.

Its sad, but more people voted for american idol, than for our reigning president. If you dont vote, you cant complain. Become active in the world around you. Dont let others control your life and your world.

Actually, Hillary Clinton is a centrist, which is why she is unpopular with certain people. Check out her site & her voting record. As for those who say she sways...remember the world is not all just black & white; there's no virtue in being stubborn & rigid. Look where that's gotten us.

Well, I feel that one who is a centrist sits on the fence, and just sways back and forth and I don't believe we are ready for someone who doesn't have precise views one way or the other.

Unfortunately with the primary system we have in place they all have to pander to the extremes to get thru the primaries, they'll all moderate as time goes on.
