Hello - my friend was once in the same dilemmia with a last name of "Brown". To help her, she looked into her and husband's geneology and found a last name that was unique and would work with Brown - her kids are named McKinley (girl) and Dutton, Navarro (boys). My other friend's last name is Baker and she named her kids after the elements: Rayna (rain), Storme (storm) and Steele (steel). Both of my friends wanted unique names but did not want to go with unusual spelling of average names (like J'seeka for Jessica, etc). Good luck and I wish you the best!
