There are (roughly) 365.25 days per year. Doing the division gets you 2737.850 years.

So, if I say 2738 years, that's good enough...because you asked for the age in years.

[If you want it more accurate, you'll have to specify the exact year within a millennium, because certain years divisible by four are not leap years according to the rule.]

The answer to this is 2738 years old.

I found the answer by dividing 1,000,000 by 365 to see how many years it came out to. The result was 2739.79; I rounded that to 2740 and then divided that by four to see how many leap years there were within those. The result was 935, therefore, there were 935 extra days because of the leap years. I then divided 935 by 365 to see how many years that was and it resulted in about 2 years. So all you do is subtract 2 from 2740 and you get your answer.

Also take into account that each hundred years, we skip a leap year in the current calendar. So its not quite 365.25 days.....
But what is 20 days or so unless you're factoring in that its getting close to his birthday again.

He is 2737.85 years old. Every year has 365.25 days in it which make every 4th year a leap year. So if you take 1,000,000 and divide it by 365.25 you will have already taken the leap years into account.

1,000,000 divided by 365= 2739.72 years
then the leap year thing adds one day each 7 years,
adding 391 days he is 2740.65 years old.

Yes, he is clearly around 2800 years old. However, the calender has changed since that time, so which base calender do you want the answer in: Gregorian, Julian, etc.
