Well since quite a few come down here to Florida for the winter, I say yippeee come and spend spend spend ;-)

It'll be nice to see the positive effect it should have on the trade deficit. It'll be even nicer to take money from all the foreign visitors eager to see the US and finally be able to because it'll be much more affordable. More Americans will stay in the US and see more of their own amazing country. They'll notice the products made in the USA are more affordable compared to the formerly cheaper competitors.

hmmmm.....There will of course be a few negatives, but there are as many positives.

Since most Americans but products in America with American dollars, exchange rates are rather irrelevant.

I am a Canadian, and I am pleaded and somewhat cautiously optimistic as a high dollar effect out manufacturing and tourism.

However if I were an American I would answer.

That is not true. It is the bias media feeding you crap.

OR..I would blame Bush.

OR..If I was informed I would blame the Fed.

OR.. I would continue to make fun of the monopoly money even though it is more valuable.

We keep giving out free this, free that, free everything so the Dems are happy. And, we pay for it by driving down the value of the dollar.

Currency values are always fluctuating. Honestly most Americans don't care. They will gripe about the rising price of fuel, but they won't notice when going to Home Depot the 4x8 sheet of plywood they pick up will now have US stamped on it instead of Canada.

I'm surprised it's not the lowest currency on the planet. I am guessing that they will have the most to lose when we go to the amero.
