No, they wouldn't. Sharpton and Jackson are racists. If they want to further the cause of human rights they should shut their mouths.

Still, their involvement in Jena shouldn't tell you that what they are doing is wrong. They are on the right side, I just hope they keep quiet.

NO! Although it would probably get them more press coverage.

I can see the Headline. A Miracle has Happened. There was a star rising in the east and three wise men that came by on camels. But it wasn't a Messiah arriving. It was Rev. Al Sharpton saying these were misunderstood white boys who really shouldn't have been charged with what they did.

The problem you're making is that the controversy is not about white kids beating up blacks kids, or black kids beating up white kids. That happens all the time. Who cares? It's not about racists high school students, either. That happens all the time. Who cares?

What's stirring up the controversy, you should understand, is that the justice system in Jena, LA is corrupt. That the justice system is racist. If it weren't for the irrational, racist response of the Jena justice system, no one would care about these kids being beat up. Perhaps we should anyway, but to care about all the tragedies of the world seems like too big a burden on the hearts of most people.

You are aware that in this country that used to be the norm? What about if a couple thousand white guys enslaved a few million black people... oh wait that did happen... ok ok, what if a few million white people stripped black people of their rights, denied them services, and lynched any that got vocal? oh wait oh wait, that happened too...
ok what if 6 kids beat up another kid, and then they were charged with attempted murder and tried as adults... black or white, that was wrong. But because in the South, youre likely to see that happen when the culprits are black then you have Jena. Seeing as how their were other incidents in that town, and not a single white kid even spent an hour in jail, then you have a serious problem.

No... Jackson, Sharpton, and the rest of their ilk are attention grabbing race baitors. They are more concerned with victimizing every black person in the world.

Are you kidding? They would march down the street, twirling lynch ropes. Remember how disgusting they were after the Duke lacrosse players were accused of rape by a black woman?
