Remember I paid back my husband for his trick playing and I said I'd tell you soon? This is what I did.
He doesn't like spiders. Before anyone says I was cruel with my trick, it was just for fun and he laughed as much as me afterwards.

I picked 11 tomato stalks( you know they look a bit like spiders) then I taped them to the bottom sheet on his side of the bed with clear tape. He only had the bedside light on and no glasses when he pulled back the covers to get in. He thought the bed was crawling with spiders! lol

My question: Do you think his punishment was fair game?

Bob. If I thought this would do any harm to my husband in anyway, I would not have done it. After nearly 40 years together I know him to well and love him too much to ever cause him real distress. We love to share everything, even fun lol x

I'm glad your husband & you have so much fun in your marriage by playing jokes on each other. Having fun in a marriage/relationship is so important & I know many couples who don't have fun. Sad isn't it?

DC Bob.....You need to lighten up & have fun!! That's what we do here!!!

As long as it is game no issues but please don't develop it further. Everything starts at a small scale and then becomes serious. What I am trying to say is that as long as it is only for fun and both accepts it fine but where it turns to hurt ones ego then these small games might turn into TIT FOR TAT business and end up disastrous. Hence my friend before you do something think and then do it. There is no point in repenting later. Wish everything will go smooth and fine with you.

Haha!
Love that trick, next time use real spiders in jars! ( joke! )
His punishment was fair, even though I don't know what trick he played on you - Whatever it was, he will know not to do it! Unless he wants a bed-ful of real creepy crawlies!

Mrs Knuckles played a similar trick on me once and the result was a catastrophic bowel movement on my part ! So I think you were totally over the top ,still what more should one expect from someone who watches Graham Norton on TV and doesn't have any bathroom curtains? lol

Yes that was a great payback. But you now know he will be coming back at you. Be on the lookout. He will think of something, and you will never know when it is coming. Have fun and enjoy you high-jinks you two. Sure beats fighting doesn't it.

Well, honey...I agree with everyone else. I think the delectable R__ will be plotting your downfall and it's going to be a doozy, so you'd better keep yourself prepared. We all know YOU have the restraint to keep from doing anything that would harm HIM, but is he capable of the same restraint regarding YOU?

Out of the darkness will come an arachnid to bite a bottom. beware the spider hater! love it. I was going to say bite a bum but decided it was not polite.

My dear,.
I have one better then that?.
Way back in my national service days, we was posted in to old barracks, I came in after guard duty, and jumped into bed with only my underpants on.
My bed was riddled with cockroaches and big spiders, about 40 of them,
.My mates had spent all night collecting them, [cleaning up].
and played that dirty rotten joke on me.

As someone who doesn't like spiders, I can feel sorry for him.BUT, he will know not to mess about again. That was a well thought out pay-back!
