I wanted a T shirt also, but only got one answer, and it was concise and to the point and not horrible, but still I could not find a place to order said shirt.
But I think charging the black teens, with attempted murder is unjust. the white man who attacked the black teen with a bottle was give probation, the white boys who hung the nooses, got probation. And beating up the white student by six black students was wrong, but charging them with attempted murder is ludicrous.
And the nooses were not a prank, that calls up the lynchings done for no reason in the old south. They used to taunt Civil Rights workers with nooses. Yes we practiced non violence, but they talked to us for hours to prepare us, "do not react when they spit on you", "hit you", "call you names" it was hard for me when I was a young adult in the sixties, to not react, I cannot imagine what it was like for teenage boys.

The Jena Six were responding to racism. The white kids had always sat under that same tree for years;. they didn't want any black kids there. Hanging nooses in the trees was totally wrong. Beating that boy was totally wrong. The DA could not find anything to charge the white kids on as far as hanging nooses. But he did have charges he could file on the black kids. None of this is right. I see both sides. It is time to stop the racism.

I think they were overly charged, there is no way a shoe should have been counted as a deadly weapon however, i was never exactly sure wheat her or not the boy they attacked was killed or not. If he was they do deserve jail time, but if not they shouldn't get any time. It was the schools fault it happened no one Else's.

Did anyone see the kid who was beaten? It was bad. Really bad, he almost died. Lock up the hoodlums and keep them away for a long while. Tired of hearing about people not wanting to take responsibility for their actions.
Oh, and by the way O.J. wasn't "set up". Nobody held a gun to his head making him do what he decided to do.
Please, give me a break.

I did not follow it closely, but it seems to me that those looking to demonize only one side (whichever side) are deliberately ignoring the whole picture.
I for one would be very curious as to whether the local DA has prosecuted in the past whites who have attacked blacks.

Six guys beatiing another guy should be punished, regardless of the motivation, especially when one of the attackers is a habitual violent offender. Good luck. 2D

They have little remorse for their actions, they are part of a gang that even local neighborhood residents are tired of. They are stupid, low IQ, drop-outs that only know physical abuse as a manner of dealing with anything their "pea-brain" can not disseminate.
