Mine at home have except one of my cats and my dog. Otherwise the rest get along.

I can't even persuade my cats to get on with each other never mind expect them to get on with dogs.

my dog has cats for pets.
i swear.
we bring out his dish and leave him to eat.
after a while we notice him loosing weight.
we bring out his dish and peek at him. turns out he shares the food with the cats. they all eat from the same dish at the same time. there are a bunch of strays coming into our yard to freeload from our dog.
