unconditional love is "true" love. but if it's not mutual it's pretty much useless

Don't think like that. You don't have to choose between the two. People talk about true love as if there only were one love, one way to love. There isn't. Unconditional love is the one that bonds parents to their children - and that's the only unconditional love you can find since other "loves" said to be unconditional are just loves with more or less acceptable conditions. Mutual love is when the love you feel is corresponded. But all kinds of love are true for as long as you feel them and believe them.

True love requires the unconditional love and this unconditional love must be mutual. It wouldn't be fair i think if only one person loves the other. To be true love to each other there must be an exchange of love from one another. How would a person know if there is really love if one is not at all reciprocating. There is the love to be shared and for me that is the most important factor to let the love grow each day.

Love should be both unconditional and mutual. If not there really is no love there at all!! As far as true love gos when you have it you won't have to wonder if its mutual or unconditional! You'll know it and feel it and so will everyone whos around you.

For an individual it is unconditional love. For a happy love, it is mutual love. Best is Mutual Unconditional Love.

Mutual love . . .

Love should be about giving as well as taking not what the

other person will let you get away with, cause eventually if

your unscrupuliou to begin with chances are that's probably

why you looked for someone who you thought would love you

unconditionally in the first place . . .

Unconditional love would have to be preceeded by

unconditional attraction . . . when's the last time you've

seen that in a singles bar? . . .

and what about the sex? should'nt that be mutual or should

that be unconditional? i think they call it rape . . .

I believe that true love would be unconditional love. Mutual love means that your love is returned, and love can be true without being reciprocated. Unconditional love is the love that says "no matter what you do, where you go, or what life dishes out...I love you."

This is frightening! If all of us used your logic, we'd be a huge tangle of one giant orgy.... whether meditating or not. There is nothing 'sacred' about sexuality. Your "living bliss" is just in the individual imagination, which is dominated by whatever knowledge (or lack thereof) you have in your own brain. No person can 'love without limits'. We are all limited physically, mentally and emotionally. If we were unlimited in any way, the world would not be full of hatred and negativity, rich and poor. The only One who can love unconditionally is God. He is not bound by any law or any type of boundary.

Unconditional love because even in mutual love for another there can be conditions that arise with out either party being aware of it in the relationship ..such is life and we are all human right :)))))))))))))))))))))))))

Unconditional because you love completely without conditions you just love freely :))))

It is the extremely rare person that can love unconditionally; allowing others to be themselves completely - warts and all. Unconditional love gives life - with no strings attached.
