If things are being moved or electrical problems or odd smells that should not be there. If u hear footsteps or voices and doors opening or shutting. If u feel u r not alone when u r alone. Then u can suspect that u have a ghost. Be aware of your surroundings.

Stand up to him. Your house, you pay the rent. Not him. Tell him straight and don't take no crap. Tell him you won't be forced out by a poxy ghost and laugh in his face. Leaving a few lights and stuff on also helps. If it was me, I wouldn't have it. Show him who's boss and threaten him with an exorcism. Basically make his life a misery. He should soon get fed up and move next door. ;-) You might not have one anyway, any noises and stuff could be explained. Just don't get Derek Acorah in - he talks complete and utter b*llocks (as proven when they set him up on Most Haunted and exposed him as a fake). It's when things move on their own in front of your face or that you see a ghost you should worry...but don't be scared, he can't hurt you, so just tell him to F off. See if he gets the message. ;-)

First eliminate things that probably have a mundane cause, like electrical problems or noisy neighbours. Maybe a leaking gas boiler is causing problems. Then get someone over to witness things so you know that you aren't hallucinating. Then set up a camcorder with a night vision set up, or call in your local ghost hunters who probably already have one. Setting up a tape recorder to run can pick things up too. Only call in a medium if it's aggressive, and NEVER use a Ouija board.

I've actually had some experience with ghost, where i used to live was haunted. It actuallly followed us to where we are now. It bothered my children more than us. I felt a coldness on the landing, we also heard footsteps going up &. down the stairs. My kids also had a towel thrown at them into the lounge. When i came in it was like walking into a freezer it was so cold. Once i asked it to leave , but then the lights started flickering.Freaked me out to say the least.

If your house is full of people all the time you should not worry about ghosts but if you left your house let us say for instance for 10 years you may worry about that because those creatures like empty places ,believed or not like humans they like to control the place and you will see obvious signs of their anger.

You have not said why you think you have one.
Anyway, if you are really worried try to make sure you don't get fleeced by some 'expert'. Read up at the library and make your own mind up
Some people believe the sprirt world is a s real as we are. I have no idea if its true, I have no evidence to prove it so I guess I don't but wouldnt disrespect those that do.

Well usually they write on the wall with blood and wail vary late at night. Occasionally they clang chains around and tell you to get out. If none of this is happening to you, then the ghost is just bored.

the best option is put a video camera or something to that effect where you believe the ghost may be.

Are you talking about in your house?

Get a complete history of the home--from preconstruction to present. Has anyone dies there? Has anyone associated with the house ever been involved in occult rituals of any kind? This includes seances and Ouija Boards. If not, you can be pretty sure that it is not haunted.
