I am concidering sitting Terrel Owens (vs Bears) and Larry Fitzgerald (vs Baltimore) for week 3. My starters would then be Jerry Porter(vs Browns), Antwan Randle El (vs Giants), and Wes Welker (vs Buffalo). Is this a good idea or should I stick with my big guns? Most helpful answer gets 10 points!

Start T.O. Larry Fitzgerald I wouldn't start, Baltimore will have more sacks than Leinart has completions. If I were you, I would go with T.O., Porter, and Welker. Randle El is intriguing but Moss may get more balls thrown his way against sorry Giants D.

I would stick with Owens and Fitzgerald. I think sometimes we can over analyze match-ups. There is a reason these 2 are top WR, they produce. The chances of them having a big game is much better than Porter, Randle El or Welker. Good Luck.

Well, anything can happen, that is why they play the games. The best you can do is go with the odds.

Chicago and Baltimore have two of the best defenses in the league. This in itself is enough to consider benching them.

However, teams with the lead tend to run the ball, and teams that are behind tend to pass. Defenses also tend to play loose when they are ahead, giving up yardage instead of points. Baltimore and Chicago are both favored to win. If you believe they are capable of winning, Owens and Fitzgerald may get a lot of points later in the game.

Looking at the opposite side of a good defense... with a bad defense, QBs tend to spread the ball around. This will mean sharing opportunities with all the other receivers. We all know what Cleveland did last week, but look at Cinci's stats. 9 different receivers caught passes, and 4 different receivers scored. That is a lot of people to share opportunities with.

With that said, I'm not going to give you an answer, I think you should review the facts and come up with your own answer. After all, it is your team!

Bench Fitz. Keep Randle El down as well. The other guys should have good games.
