What does the woman singing saying in the very beginning of the song Song Cry? I never could make it out. It's not on any of the sites that have the lyrics cuz it's a sample from an old song.
The woman says something like "Did you ever..."

Apparently you guys didn't read what I wrote. I said the WOMAN at the beginning of the song. And I already stated I looked on web sites and they don't provide her lyrics. She sings before Jay-Z starts rapping. Before everything the first two posters posted.

It's actually a man. They sped the tempo up just a little so the pitch is higher. He used a sample from Bobby Glenn's song - Sounds Like A Love Song (Song Cry). He says, "Picture all the possibilaties, picture all the possibilaties, sounds like a love song, sounds like a love sooonnnnnnnngg."
**Ryder - did you not see the first two posts? Those are the d*mn lyrics. It's not in there. How about you listen to the song and follow along while looking at the lyrics...dumba*s.

next time, save 5 points and a question, and just type Jay-Z song cry lyrics in Yahoo or Google, or go to http://www.ohhla.com to find just about any rap lyrics you want. That way, you'll still have and extra 5 points left, and an extra question to use to ask something else.
