If I like the book I'll read it more than once.
I've read all of the Harry Potter series at LEAST 4 times.
I've read Weetzie Bat twice.
And I've read Holes 43 times.
There are many more but I can't remember off the top of my head.
Haha I love reading, can you tell?

All the books I own! I have read and re-read all Harry Potter books at least 4 or 5 times each- I've lost count of how many times I've read the Da Vinci Code. fave just now is 'Behind the Scenes at the Museum' by Kate Atkinson. It is a book you HAVE to read at least twice - there is such a fantastic twist near the end of the story and you have to go back to ask yourself if there actually are any clues coz you feel you should have seen it coming, but you don't, it's so well written, worth a look - excellent book!

I re-read books all the time. Sometimes I want the familiarity of an old friend.
Variety of books - Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit; the Chalet School books by Elinor M Brent Dyer; Terry Pratchett; The Dark is Rising sequence by Susan Cooper. I could go on - but I won't!!

I re-read a lot of my favourite books time and time again. I have a houseful of books so there is always something to dive into if I'm stuck for a new book. Probably the most satisfying book to re-read is 'The Lord of the Rings'. I always find something that I have previously missed or perhaps forgotten!

Many, but a couple stand out. I reread Catcher in the Rye periodically as well as Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut, Frankenstein, Dracula and Wuthering Heights. Also a lot of Dickens. Another favorite re-read is Don Quixote. That book could be read a thousand times and you would still find new things each time you read it. It means different things to you at different stages of your life. I have a library in my home, filled with books. I never read library books - I own them all because I never know when the urge to reread will strike me. Pax - C

No, I can't say I have, or maybe yes I have, by mistake. Forgot I had already read it untill I got about half way through the first chapter. But I do like to read a book that's been made into a movie before I see the movie.

Yup! Almost all the books I bought that connected with me an any aspect of my being.
Top three:
1. The Little Prince - everytime I read it it conveys a different meaning to me.
2. Cather In the Rye - never get tired of reading this one!
3. Underground Man - I am the Underground Man!

If I enjoy a book I *will* be reading it again. That's just the way it works! I've gone through numerous copies of my favorites, such as "The Stand," by Stephen King and "Swan Song," by Robert R. McCammon just to name two. I've even been known to read a book for the first time and, if I like it enough, start back at the beginning as soon as I'm finished. Reading, for me, is as much about savoring the language that makes up a story as it is about the story itself.
