Just WTF is the use of congress voting on some resolution condeming moveon.org ad. Don't the Republicants have anything better than waste taxpayers time in this? It was a stupid ad by moveon.org, why fuel the fire, they're loving it.

Some Democrats got scared that this could be inflated into a mark against them next election time, and went along with the resolution..
Republicans were just trying to tie Democrats to the statement. By the next election, when Petraeus testimony is pretty well demonstrated to be too optimistic, I think she shoe may be on the other foot.
