Shower...except my absentee landlord hasn't fixed the hot water problem...I have been taking baths at my sister's house.

Yes, exactly - showers! I agree with you, that they are quicker, use less water (which is more environmentally friendly), plus baths are just sitting in a tub of as you said slowly cooling water, but also in a tub of water which is dirty from your own 'good' or bad germs - however i do agree with others that baths probably are very soothing for people who need a stress-relief remedy or are injured, or sore etc. If it was a jacuzzi or a type of bath that actually had water circulation, and pumped water in and out etc. that would be better because the water wouldn't get cold and it wouldn't be 'dirty' as it'd be washed away and replaced with clean water. Though this would be even more water-wasting!

I enjoy showers more. I feel cleaner than I do appose to taking a bath. You are sitting in the dirt you've just rinsed off your body. So what usually happens with me, I'll sit in the water for relaxation, then stand up to shower after the water has cooled.

Youe ver get that slimy feeling after a bath? That's because the germs and dead skin are still on you....taking a shower is cleaner because along with the soap the germs and dead skin go down the drain instead of floating around your body. If you must take a bath..shower first. This way you come out squeaky clean. Baths are just for relaxation in my book.

Both i start off in the bath to relax and then finish of with a shower to get clean, the only problem is trying to find the time to relax with 2 children and a wife.

I usually take showers. They are quicker and I think they are more sanitary because you're not soaking in the dirt that came off your body. You know? However, a nice hot bubble bath is great after a long hard day.

Shower is more faster and the water is always clean unlike baths( the traditional baths in which the whole bath is filled with water) there are other methods such as filling a bucket up with water and using the water from the bucket
