Im a 38-40 B cup but I can't find anything in 38 or 40 thats less than a C. Sports bra's and camisoles don't give me any support and I feel self concious. All bra's that I find in my size (at sears for instance) are waaaaay to loose in the cup. I need to find plus size bra's in a B or an A even but I don't no where to look. Any advice?

I buy bras only from Jeunique, a company that makes special support bras for all sizes. They are fantastic - I always feel confident in one - they really provide support and are terrific for the heavier woman of any cup size. You can find the company on the internet and e-mail them and they will give you the name of a distributor in your area - either a store or a private seller that sells them. You have to go and be personally fitted for one. They are expensive, though. The good thing is that they are worth it and you don't need to buy a replacement very often. They can run from 60-80 dollars, so be prepared. Here is the website:

If the bras you try on in your size are too loose in the cups, then maybe you're not the size you think you are. When's the last time you've been measured? Check out the following article:

There's a bra size calculator there you might want to try. If you still find that you're 38-40 B, then you're probably more likely to find that size online than you are in a store.

I have the same problem, I'm a 40B /38C. Stores like Macy's & Sears sell what they call Bra extenders, They have saved my life!! It is a little hook & eye strap to attach to a smaller bra (38B) So it is not so tight across the back. This also helps elliminate back-fat too!! Go ask an older sales lady in the lingurie dept. of your local Macy's or Sears. Have fun!!

They do have 28-40 in a B cup size. Try Victoria Secret. They have all size bra's. They are kind of expensive...but sometime they have really big sale's. You can also try JCPenny. They have great bra's & they are not expensive at all. I get mine from Victoria's Secret, and JCPenny.

-Don't buy ANY bra's at Walmart!! (I used to buy mine they're) Once you wash them the cup of the bra get's all lumpy. And you can't get it back too the regular shape. Trust me on that.

If you live near an outlet mall, see if there is an outlet shop for foundations: Jockey, Hanes, Playtex, Olga, etc. They'll usually have a full range of sizes, and if something's not in stock, they can often order it.

You can also try looking up websites for the companies. Most have online catalogs you can shop from.

try victoria's secret, figleaves.com, nordstroms. I always see those sizes everywhere. If you go shopping, please have someone measure you. Most women are wearing the incorrect size, and you may not be the same in all brands. Nordstroms is the best for measuring and helping you find stuff. They usually have tons of cool bras on their clearance rack.

Fredricks of Hollywood is my favorite, personally.

Do not skimp on the price of a high quality bra. If you can only afford one, that is fine. But do not waste your money on walmart things that are not goign to do you justice.
