So if I buy one and pay lets say $20 a month I can go on the internet as much as I like aslong as I have a signal?

Pretty much. I am using a BB Pearl, with the blackberry unlimited add on (unlimited data from surfing/email) from T-Mobile, I can get online anywhere, never had a problem with the signal. Hope you like your new BB, I love mine!

Most of the US wireless carriers requires calling plan before you could subscribe Internet plan. So you will pay more than $20 a month to get the Internet.
As far as the signal go, I know the Data Network cover area is different from Voice Network. Such as 3G network, they are only available in large Metro area. So you could go online and check carriers coverage maps and compare.

if you have an unlimited blackberry data plan, then yea u can go on anytime. if not, ur still gonna have to pay per kb
