Yes and you can even fry them up just like rocky mountain oysters. Obviously, much smaller, but same principal.

only a couple people who answered seem to actually know what they are talking about.......
yes, roosters do have "testicles" but they are inside, and they are actually quite large for the size of the bird........ about the same size and shape as hen's eggs. And hens do not have to have access to a rooster to lay eggs, they will lay whether they have ever "been with" a rooster or not. the only thing is, the eggs won't hatch unless fertilized.
the "testicles" are huge, it would be equivalent to human males having testes the size of watermelons inside their body.

Why are so many people saying yes? Birds don't have external testes so no 'testicles' which I think implies the external dangling variety - they don't even have penises.

Lots of others are saying Rooster as if chicken implies a female - it doesnt - those are hens!

The testicles of a rooster are located slightly above and forward of the kidneys which is well inside the abdominal region.
In other words: they are inside their bodies and can only eject their sperm from their insides.

Yes. Male birds have testicles. They are held internally. It takes an expert to sex (determine the gender) of a bird.

Um if roosters didn't have them, how would hens lay eggs??
Gee THINK about it.
Why would anyone care if male chickens had testicles?

THE ANSWER, OF COURSE IS, YES. HOWEVER, THEY ARE LOCATED INSIDE THE ROOSTERS ( MALE CHICKEN) BODY. THEY CAN BE REMOVED SURGICALLY WHEN THE ROOSTER IS YOUNG. HE WILL THEN GROW MUCH LARGER THAN THE REGULAR ROOSTER AND IS CALLED A CAPON. THEY ARE A NICE SUBSTITUTE FOR A TURKEY FOR A SMALL FAMILY.

yes but like most animals there on the inside of there body. being with the heat is good for there production.

Un like males and some other animals dogs, bulls etc they are on the outside of there body. Because the heat is to hot and will hurt sperm producation

I know that a male turkey does so I would guess that a male chicken does too.

A 'male chicken' is called a rooster and they do have testes, however, they are internal and the rooster has no penis.
