I thought she sounded like Emiliana Torrini so maybe it is an Icelandic turn in her voice given someone thought she was like Bjork (maybe not quite as mad though). I think it is really unique and somewhat sweet and innnocent which makes it stand out from other voices. Great song, great mix and like someone else said, not normally my cup of tea but it stands out.
