Well, according to the Hockey Hall of Fame, there have been 4 professional Hockey Teams in Calgary history

1. Calgary Tigers, 1922-1927, 1932-1936
Top Scorer: Harry Oliver 124 points

2. Calgary Stampeders, 1951-1963
Top Scorer: Sidney Finney 683 points

3. Calgary Cowboys, 1975-1977
Top Scorer: Daniel Lawson 139 pts

4. Calgary Flames, 1980-present
Top Scorer: Theoron Fleury 830 points

5. Calgary Oval XTreme (2002 to resent)
Top Scorer: Hayley Wickenheiser 317 pts

There has been no one player who has played on more than one of these teams. That leaves Theoron Fluery as the #1 scorer in Calgary Professional Hockey History (a honor the city gave to him in 2002)

Note #1: Special Thanks to Sidney Finney (a former Chicago Black Hawk) for providing some of the information, especially as it relates to the Calgary Stampeders. The team was in existence for 14 years before turning professional in 1951.

Note #2: The Calgary Oval XTreme date back to 1992 but did not become professional until 2002.

Note #3: All other teams based in Calgary and registered with Hockey Canada have been amateur, senior, or college.

Dag Homes, is somebody from my home telling you when I'm away? This is getting to be uncanny..... 1. We say, “FootBALL, BaseBALL, & BasketBALL”...why not call our game "hockeyPUCK"? - All for it. Now I can not only say that I'm having a ball while playing the other sports, I could also say that I am having a puck of a good time playing hockey. 2. What pro sport players have the most hand callouses? Maybe the NBA?….they don’t wear gloves? - In reality, at the beginning of this NBA season, many players complained about the redesigned basketball because it was rough on their skin. They were abrasive and the NBA did something about it. 3. Hockey-gal, please forgive me. Why is it that 2 of the most redneck sports have the longest acronyms? NASCAR, WWE RAW…& yet the sports that appeal to smarter fans have shorter acronyms? - uhhhhhhhhhhh........I dunno... 4. If hockey did not have goalies, would the game be higher or lower scoring than basketball? - More like tennis. Sorry, got Maria Sharapova on the brain today. 5. What other sport has a wide "age-range" of fans, other than hockey? - Baseball for sure. 6. The NHL logo was redesigned a handful of years ago. It was orange & black, & the letters “NHL”, went from upper-left to bottom-right of the shield. Now the logo is silver & black, & the letters “NHL” go from bottom left, to upper right of the crest or shield. Should the person that redesigned the NHL logo, even get freaking paid? I mean,I know finger-painting toddlers that are more creative. - I was miffed because they were the Flyers colors. I guess what I hear is true - that the NHL really doesn't like the Flyers.....

I'm sure it is Theoren Fleury with 830 Points in 791 career NHL games. 1.05 PPG( Points Per Game, not Power Play Goals.)
