Someone said to me that guys who like anime girls only like shy,quiet weak ones and not Strong and confident ones.Is this true...

It is really just a preference. Some guys like the shy type, while others like the assertive type.
However, a lot of the shy, quiet girls that guys like also happen to be quite strong (eg Hinata from Naruto, Yuki from Naruto, Mai from Kanon... etc).

I don't hate fighter girls at all. The most pious ones usually end up being the strongest while not being excessively "dolled up".
The only ones that really get on my nerves are the excessively "juggy" fighters like Mai Shiranui from Fatal Fury.

I like "fighter" girls but only if they have a sweet side. Urd from Ah! My Goddess is a good example, her devil side is very bossy, hot tempered and assertive, but her goddess side is gentle and nurturing. Girls in anime are always so perfect.
