I guess if you are a huge fan of the autographer, it shouldn't matter, because they would still mean something to you.

If you're willing to pay all that cash only to have the autograph sit in your room and no one looking at it but you than sure. I wish i had the extra money to spend there are plenty of orphans that i want to feed and can't afford...sad!

If that's what you like to do then I don't see why not.
If you are doing it for investment purposes then it's probably not a good idea. If you are doing it for fun, then why not.

For me, I wouldn't do it but it's not my thing. I would be looking at from an investment standpoint and these types of things are not good for investment purposes alone.

I think it would be if you just suddenly do it. Put some thought into it and do what you can to validate that it's real. If it can't be proved then don't buy it.

i wouldn't do it unless they had some kind of certificate of authentication. But it's still cool to have a signature regardless of wether or not you were the one who got it.

not really, if you are amazed and entertained by looking at signatures then go ahead. or if you can lie really good then you can say " ohh yeah, i have met him... he gave me an autograph while i was at the game"

Absolutely stupid.

It's not stupid, but it may not be the wisest way to invest. As long as YOU enjoy them, who cares what anyone else thinks!

I thought about that once, they don't have the same value, but it's not going to hurt to buy them.
