why don't they realize it's only for publicity reasons, to get people to watch the movie or tv show.

They probably do. Or, maybe they're so full of themselves they're too blind to see it.

I think that most of them know that. But similarily, some of them are truely best for the roles, example Jennifer Lopez in Salena, I mean the movie is about a latina singer, and Jennifer Lopez is a latina singer.

I think that some know,but it's also publicity for that model\singer or athlete.not to mention the $.

Because they all think that EVERYONE wants them cuz they are the hottest thing out there. And the fact that they are gonna get paid.
