coinstar change counting machines?

does anybody know if they take golden dollars?

I wouldn't try it why would you pay a dime to cash in a dollar? I can see paying to count pennies or even nickels but when it comes to the coins that are quarter or more it doesn't make sense to spend that much money.

I'm not sure but you can probably call customer service (of the store where the coinstar is located) and they might know...or try googling coinstar...but they do take a percentage of the money out for using their services.
