No worries. My daughter's teeth didn't start showing up until she was 10 months old. It was still in the "normal" range.

BTW, she lost her first tooth before she was five years old. We panicked, went to the dentist...and she was perfectly fine. Her adult tooth was growing under and pushed it out. She had all her adult teeth by the time she was 11. She was in and out of her braces by the end of 6th grade. AND still no cavities at 14!

This is normal all kids are different. I have a 4yr old and a 7month old my daughter which is 4 now started getting her teeth when she was 6 months by the age of 2 she had to get them out they were no good. My boy who is 7 months has no teeth yet. the doctor says its better if they get them when they are a little older like around 11-12 months. so dont worry they will come.

Some kids teeth just come in later. I didn't get my first tooth until eleven months and I lost my last baby tooth when I was 12. My kids are 2 & 3. Both of them got their first tooth right at 11 months also. Now they both have a full healthy set of teeth. Don't worry about making comparisons with the norm.

Some kids just dont get them early and instead they bloom a little later. I have two kids my Son who is now 2.5 has a full set of teeth but he didnt get his first tooth to actually break through until he was 13 months! then they just all came in at the same time! Then my Daughter who is 1.5 had a full set in her mouth before she reached her first birthday!

I promise you, her teeth will come in when they are good and ready to. No need to worry!

My second child did not get her first tooth until she was nearly 11 months old. It worried me to death because my son had started cutting teeth around 4 months of age. Children just develop at their own pace. And I take comfort because the dentist told us that the older they are when the teeth come in, the healthier their teeth will be throughout their lives...even their permanent teeth. Enjoy the toothless grins a bit much...they are so cute when they are toothless :-)

Everyone and every baby is different. My neighbor's daughter didn't get any teeth until after her first birthday. I wouldn't be in too much of a hurry to get the teeth.....For my son, it meant ear infections, runny noses, and an overall "cranky" demeanor. Good luck when it does happen!
