What is the proper attire to wear to a fall pre-football game brunch?

You can never go wrong with a nice pair of khakis and shirt, if you think it might get cold then a light jacket, even if you do end up being a little over dressed, it's still better than beung underdressed.

I would not wear anything less than a skirt or dress. A brunch is more formal than a football game, but you need to dress for both..I am assuming. If you look closely at all the Greek-affiliated students at a game, you'll see all the gals wearing dresses and all the guys in suit and tie. So, wear a comfortable skirt or dress and make sure you carry along a sweater or a stadium blanket if the weather is cool. The blog below is suggesting dressy pants or shorts, but I'm old-fashioned.

well, I'm a sports fanatic, and i'd probably be wearing jeans with a jersey of my team, but i'm going to say jeans and a nice sweater or top, should be totally fine!

I would definitely go with a knee-length skirt and thick tights with a sweater, or a blouse and slacks.
