Can't figure this one out. If the folks would just let it go, it would die a well deserved death. As it is, they are harping on it and will keep it in the forefront. Silly, really...

Remember the Swiftboaters? They sank Kerry's campaign with a smear that left people wondering if the Bronze Star and three Purple Hearts meant anything to anyone who got one...after all if Kerry got his so easily, who's to say that everyone who got one was 'really' hurt.
But that was OK by the Republicans.
Politicizing the military is out of bounds, Bush willingly did that and now he is upset that hes been called out on it.
In a feast of stupidity, some Democrats have let themselves be herded into condemning the ad.
If you ask me, an ad is an ad, as long as it is truthful.
We are arguing about everything about that ad except...is it true?

Cons are afraid of it because Moveon.org can mobilize the American people to defeat the GOP.
And, of course, because Moveon.org exposed the cowardliness of General Betray us
