i have afriend in mid 40's who still has her monthlys yet the past 6 months her periods have been more?

painful plus when she does number 1 when on her period she is passing very thick clot like stuff can anyone tell me is she starting to go through the change cause she is 45 if so what can be done right now let me know thank you

She should see her Gyn and get evaluated.

Those symptoms can be from anything including Perimenopause. The doctor can measure her hormone levels to find out if she is going through Perimenopause.

It could be she has a fibroid! She need to see her physician!
