Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath, he was working at a manufacturing plant. His dad "made" him go in for his last day of work there before becoming a full time musician. The guy that was supposed to run the machine was out so he took over and didn't do so well
He now has special prosthetics for them.

I know it's the guy from Black Sabbath, but did you know Jerry Garcia was missing the tip of his middle finger on his right hand? My friends who were Deadheads always tried to figure out how that affected personal hygiene, as they refer to that as the "pressure finger" when used in conjunction with toilet paper. Nothing like watching a bunch of stoned people in tie-dyes sit around and debate the different ways to hold TP...

Tiny Tim?? He he was in the proto ukulele/thrash band 'Black Jumping Flea'. They were great!
He lost his fingers whilst picking tulips. Poor Tim didn't see the two hungry snapping turtles nestled between the flowers.
He eventually made prosthetics from plastic covered in leather in order to grip the strings of his ukulele better. This helped compensate for his Tiny Stumps, (which was also his nickname used by his fellow band mates).
Tiny Tim - RIP.
