This is entirely up to you, but research shows that breast milk is best for baby. A human body produces the right amount of antibodies and nutrients that a human baby needs. No formula will ever be able to copy breast milk.

breast milk is best, however if you do not feel comfortable with it then you can bottle feed. Formula is fine for babies. I have 2, tried breast feeding with the first and when she was hospitalized she wouldn't take it anymore, so we switched to formula. Even the pediatrician told me that formula feeding was fine and she did that with her boys.
You will find people who feel very strongly about breast feeding and will try to make you feel guilty about not doing it. But if you are not comfortable with it then a lot of times if you are under stress then it will be a lot more difficult to breast feed.
What ever you decide to do will be just fine for both of you.
Good Luck.

Breast feeding will help you lose some of the baby weight, and its also good for the baby, the only hard part that my wife had is the mid night feeds so you will need to bottle some so your husband can help with the morning feeds...

Breast feeding is almost always recommended. There's antibodies in breast milk that are beneficial for the baby. Being a 1st time mom is pretty overwhelming all the way around so if you really don't want to breastfeed then don't. But I'd suggest giving it a fair try - at least 6 weeks, although 6 mo - 1yr (or even longer) is ideal.

I would recommend trying to breastfeed your baby first. If you were or are like me, I tried it, and couldn't produce enough milk to even feed my son. So I went to formula. Breast milk is better, but don't worry about it, if you decide or have to use formula. My son was on formula since he was 3 days old, and everything went well with him.

Plus breastfeeding is a nice bonding experience with mother and baby, and some women don't feel like it is something they want to do. Also, it sometimes is hard to get the baby to feed right. So try breastfeeding and see how it goes. seeing that the milk needs to come out anyways. Then decide if this is going well, and if not go to the formula.

It really depends on your situation. I would reccomend trying BFing. You can switch to a bottle at any time if it doesn't work for you and your baby. I tried BF for the first time with my fourth child (meds I was taking prevented it in the past). I was only able to BF for 4 1/2 mos, but I wouldn't trade that time for anything! Even if you try it for only a few days andcan tell it isn't for you, all you have to do is grab a few bottles and some formula or a breast pump! Why not give it a chance at least!

its better to breast feed but sometimes its easier to bottle feed. I tried breast feeding with my first child and i got a serious nipple infection and had to stop... my child has developed normally so please dont let anyone tell u that ur a bad mom because u dont breast feed its just not true... go with what u feel more comfy doing!

i would recomend trying to breast feed and then depending who you feel about it you decide but breast feed firsdt BC if you bottle feed first the baby wont want breast after BC they know that from a bottle they get it faster and by breast they have to work harder to get milk.
