Contact me for information on USANA. It's a home based business that can pay up to $4,000 a week. It's not a scam. I am in the vitamins business. With people starting to look towards healthier lifestyles, vitamins are the way to go. Right now, I am just starting so I am only getting about $100 a week but that's still $100 that I didn't get from my regular job. I am hoping to get out of working by the summer of next year with this business. Or at least work because I want to, not because I have to. Go here for more info if you are interested. http://www.usana.com. Again, this is not a scam.

Start a babysitting or landscaping service. First thing you need is a business plan - set a price point by determining how much (for instance ) gas for a lawnmower and hedge trimming will cost against how much you want to make in profit - this includes the cost of advertising. You'll want to make flyers to put in mailboxes around the neighborhood. The best businesses fill a need so see what your area is lacking and what you can do.

Have you given any thought as to what you want to do? What is it that you enjoy doing that you can make a living off of. Don't let anyone who tells you that you are too young or laughing cause you asked on here get you down. You are looking at options and that is wonderful especially at your age! If you have a parent that would like to help you out I do have a home based business that I work with, you can visit my website at www.realvanilla.com or you can phone me toll free at 866-508-3474.
Hope you find what you are looking for!

It depends on your niche. What is it that you want to do? Most businesses require some sort of start up fee. If you are interested in sales, there are plenty of businesses that you can do. Try reading the http://www.wahm.com/forum and do some research on businesses there. Good luck!

Go to Sams Club or Costco, buy bulk candy bars, and sell them to kids at school for $1. People will start to come to you when they need candy. Gum is another good option too. I had a friend who did this to make money for a school trip and it worked pretty well. Or just market yourself around town as someone who does odd jobs. babysitting is good too.

I was about to answer you question when I noticed your real estate and stocks comment .
Apparently your family or a trust fund has provided you with start-up in the $100K range . . . ?
Please indicate your start-up capital so we can provide a more viable response .
'What type of business' depends on your funding abilities . . .

Business people are motivated, ambitious and decisive.. They don't go on Yahoo Answers and ask strangers for ideas. Better choose another career!
