Well, first I assess the degree that I've
been missed.
Yes, it's usually difficult, even if only because
my heart has such a persuasive way with
my reasoning.
In certain people's cases, for example
a True P & S er, such as you, Never misses a beat,
they merely ease right back in.
As effortlessly smooth as say, Charlie Watts on drums.

I don't know. For me, it's more like I observe at first, make sure the coast is clear and acceptance is imminent. Then I take the plunge! Usually I don't even have to pretend to have missed a beat.

I find it a bit difficult at first..
So, I just hang back for a little bit, observe and THEN jump back in as if I've never been gone. .

Depends upon the something.
Exercising after and several weeks of Holiday season goodie binge? Slow and with much trepidation. Dragging one or more feet, finding every possible excuse, every conceivable postponement.
Starting the goodie binge after months of careful diet and discipline? Full force, running to get a head start before I hit the door. Grabbing and grasping at every morsel. Constantly on the lookout for favorite items and real rational reasons to gorge.
It is mind over matter. Hehehe.

It's just like riding a bike.
Sure, you might swerve in and out of traffic at first, and forget which handle has the brake lever on it ... and then you end up hitting an open manhole and flying into the back of truck on it's way to North Dakota ...

Yea! I left yahoo answers when got suspended the 2nd time and then I moved to dizzay (dizzay teen) and then I came back here after a long time, but I didnt like it and went back, then finally I came back here for good and it was hard for me to... "fit in" because everyone I knew before was gone... there were knew "regulars" and things happening :p therefore it wasn't as fun, and I didnt recognize anyone.. But now I like it again...
