Dear Holy One,
It is so very nice to see you here today. I hope this Answer finds you well.
I do not Mind it, at all, when someone does the "signing thingy' . in fact,I have been known to do it myself on occasion.
I hope you are having nice weather. We are back up to the 80's today, so that makes me very happy, (not Happy-just happy. Happy's someone else) .

I don't think it's annoying, I just think it's silly. Some people wanna show how proud they are of their answers I guess. Some people do the same thing with text messages. That to me is a little more annoying because it's from someone that you actually know.

I always wondered about why people did that until I saw the questions in voting. It does make it possible for them and their friends to vote for their answer. If you have multiple accounts you could rack up best answers like crazy.
I'm not saying everyone does that, but it does seem like a logical explanation for something that otherwise makes little sense.

My loveliest Ompelle,
All I can think about is the rev. notorious j.a.y. mccain. Do you think he will ever notice me and love me the way that I love him? After all I did take Nasty's advice and showed him my "sweet milkies" and all he could do is complain about the mark it left on his bedroom window.
I'm not sure what I should do. I think I might show up at his house with beer and porn. Maybe he will love me then?

Yes, I find it so annoying because we already know that you have a name....and most of the time we're just not interested in it. I think they're just thinking that because we can see their name more than once on one page that it'll be something for us to remember but it's definitely not true. Word to the wise...."Quit it."

When I send a text message on my mobile (cell phone if your a yank) I always end my message with my name because it just lets the reader know I'm finished.

People that do that probably speak of themselves in the "third person" as if they were someone important.
Example:
7 Habits knows this is annoying and 7 habits thinks that he is right, and 7 habits does this and that...
