pluged filter, pump vane,or coupling, bypass spring bad, out of hyd fluid,

With the Rhino I owned, it was caused by water getting into the fluid. I found that the rubber boot on the gear selector lever leaked water into the oil also. Check for gunk in the filter also.

One reason in older machines is cylinder bypass or selector valve failure both involving seal replacement.
