Hank Williams Jr. without a doubt. Not really a fan of Kenny Chesney.

I agree with "Miss Patches" they are two different styles. I'm sure a more older crowd would say Hank Jr. and a younger crowd would say Kenny Chesney. They both have their good points and bad points.
I like Hank Jr. if I'm in a rebel, hell raising kind of mood, where I want to be proud of who I am and where I came from. Hank Jr. has more of a souther rock sound.
I like KC when I want to relax, or hear a good love song. Kenny has more of a Buffet sound.

Hank Williams Jr for sure. He is a REAL Country/Southern Rock singer. Very talented.
I do like Kenny Chesney, however I do NOT consider him country, his musical genre is more rightly called Surf-Pop music.

Depends did you want beach music(Kenny Chesney) or Southern Rock(Hank Jr.). Now if you want Traditional Country then Hank Jr is better, because he has done more and has the look and feel to him. He has that "country boy" look to him and that is why A Country Boy can Survive feels right from him, it is so believable between his singing and looks.

I'd have to say vocally it's Kenny Chesney, but Hank Williams Jr. is an icon and will forever be an icon. :-)
