The weirdest thing I've gotten was religious literature. It's been increasing in the last decade because people are more and more of the erroneous opinion that Halloween is evil and a devil worshiping ritual. I just wish people would start being nice to each other. Some of my most religious acquaintances are the least trustworthy because they are so wrapped up in judgments that they forget the basic tennants of religion are meant to keep people honest, decent, and charitable.

I was told to play a trick on the guy, because even though he had his light on, he didnt have any treats in the house. He said just throw some eggs or something, and that he was sorry. He then turned off the light.

The most unusual treat I ever got was a condom.
Some jerks were handing them out.
I think it was a bunch of college guys.

yes i must say that was wierd not to mention rude. Halloween is supposed to be fun for kids, not a way to grown- ups to push religion down a kid's throat. The wierdest thing I got was pencils. Not thta I needed them, but I was grateful nonetheless.

it's called a tract. it's little story with a biblical message. Christians don't celebrate Halloween, Christians believe that it is a pagan holiday that promotes pagan activities which they cannot partake of. So instead of candy (which is considered, participation) they hand out tracts.

Not really weird, but one place on my street always gives out cans of soda. Sweet, but really heavy to carry around in your sack.
