That's a pretty vague question....

It could be the transmission torque converter is locked up.
It could be a vacuum leak in the engine intake.
It could be the idle is set too low.
It could be a bad vacuum brake booster.
It could be crappy gas.

It could be all kinds of things........

Try to be a little bit more specific?

you have a fault on the electrics possibly a bad or loose conection which is aggrevated by braking. Check for the earth wire of the fuel pump it may be in a cluster in the boot with the brake wire earth.I had this fault once on a peugeot 504 every time the brake pedal was pressed the engine cut out

You have a vacuum leak. A typical Ford problem. Most likely a tare in that thick rubber gasket between the throttle body and intake manifold. Thank you very much.
