Guys does this mean he's lost interest?
In my 30's, guy is 6 years younger. When we are together he is all about me and he's the one who pursued me in the first place coz i was a bit hesitant about the age diff. We went for a function together last weekend and he was very interested and we even kissed; Met again on Mon for a while coz i initiated it and again we had a great time. On Wed i sent him a text asking if he's ok and he didnt reply. Last night he sent me a text asking if i'd gotten another text he sent me earlier.....i said no and he replied just basic and that was it. What is going on here? When i had issues before with age after he asked if we could hang out sometime, he insisted that he had dated an older woman before and he was ok with it.

Does what mean he's lost interest? All I see is a missed text message to/from each of you, and one from him that didn't declare his undying love for you. That hardly means that he's no longer into you. Why don't you give him a call and actually SPEAK to him, rather than relying on lame text messages, and see if he wants to get together this weekend if you two haven't already made plans. (I'm assuming you're not married, even though you posted in Marriage & Divorce.)

It sounds to me like you two are due for a chat about the status of your relationship. Not necessarily a "where do you see this going," but you at least need to know whether he considers you his gf or not. He's a much better source than any of us here will be, don't you think?

I wouldn't worry about it if I was you. Text messaging is not the most reliable thing in the world and some people (like me) hate doing it. If you based a relationship between you and me off text messaging, you would really feel bad. The age difference is no big deal. I date some women who are much younger than me. Maybe you guys are just on different schedules. Relax! Let what ever happens happen.

I've dated someone more than six years younger than me and I've dated someone more than six years older than me.

Age is mostly irrelevant and six years is not that much anyway. There seems to be other issues at work here. (as there always is) Good clear honest communication is always the way to work things out.

If you are trying to act certain 'roles' then maybe age can be a problem but if you just be yourself and let the other person be themselves then you can focus on compatability and shared interests and these factors will easily overpower any age issues.

# 1, your in your 30s and he is 6 years younger,. while there is a small age difference, I would say you are the "older woman" in the sense where he is 30 and you are 60 (as how I think you are seeing it)

# 2, so much is lost in txt and email, where context or even tone is not there.
Pick up the phone and call him.

Just take it slow. Men also hesitate when we feel like things are moving too fast. Don't text him to ask if he's ok, that comes off as needy. Next time text him and say What's up punk. Give him a hard time, it'll keep him more interested.

Make sure that he has some competition for your attention . that will show you his true intention and bring out the best in him if he is truly interested. (do you realize that us men don't reach adulthood until about 29?)
