There are not specific companies that will tell you what agency that they report to. You are by law allowed to ask.. but they can mask thier answer...
I BOught Suzie Ormans book... Young FAbulous and BROKE.
It tells all the scams that they do, what they would say if they used trans union, equifax... etc... and tons of great tips for your credit scores...
I am pretty shure that OLD NAVY and ... Victoria Secret... use equifax... cuz on my credit report when they did an inquiry.. thats the co it was named...
ALso if you have access to your credit report.... it will show u what reports to which...so that would be a good start too!

I worked in Barclays for nearly 40 years. We used Equifax and infolink if that helps. If you apply for credit and are refused you are entitled to ask the lender which agencies they use and their addresses. You are then free to write to them and ask for a copy of their entries regarding yourself. You are then allowed to place a statement against each entry should you wish. When any prospective lender then searches they will get your statement also. This is especially useful during disputes since they will register their entry anyway and at least you get to put your side. For example you may have bought faulty goods on credit and refused to pay for them. Anybody searching doesn't know this unless you tell them, the lender won't.

Most all banks use Equifax. It's a very reliable, safe credit search company.

It does not matter. MOST banks will use at least 2 credit bureaus. Unless there are errors on your other reports, they should all be essentially equal. If there are errors, you should file disputes to correct them.
