ive been on the depo shot for 3 years now and dont have periods because of it. 2 weeks ago i started a full blown period...bright red, im cramping like crazy, my ovary hurts and its still going strong well into week two. im not due for my shot again till mid october. should i see a doctor?

You may be hesitant for some reason, but any time your body acts out of the norm, you should look into it. At least call your doctor. In the end you know your body best, but he/she may be able to set your mind, and cramps at ease.

Yes. You should go to your doctor anytime you experience these kinds of changes. Seems like it might be time to stop taking depo.

RUN and get 2 your doctor as soon as possible. The same thing happened to me and come to find out i was pregnant in one of my tubes and it had burst i bleed for months it came to the point where i had to be hospitalized and operated on. So dont delay hurry, hurry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
