Escargot (snails). I just have the feeling they'd have the flavor and consistency of snot.

I was travelling in provincial China a few months ago. I tried most things, and really enjoyed most of what I tried.
When a "restaurateuer' proudly brought out a platter to our "band of fellows" one night that consisted of nothing but stir fried rat meat, I HAD to draw the line there..
A couple of people in our group tried it, liked it, and didn't get sick... I just couldn't do it!!

One of the dishes I regularly made in a Seafood Restaurant, "Squid in it's Own Ink". I was a chef for years...never even test-tasted that one.

Meat.
I'm a vegetarian. Don't get me wrong. I ate meat for over 20 years and loved it. I just had to make the choice and don't miss it one bit.

I am a VERY picky eater, so it would really take too long to list what I would refuse to try *LOL*
