The Irish aren't even the best winless team in the country. Colorado State owns that dubious honor.
About the best thing that can be said for the Irish right now is that they might be the best 0-4 team in the country ... might.
Right now the BGS Ratings have Notre Dame ranked 99th out of 120 teams, worse than Duke and Central Michigan but marginally better than New Mexico State, Army & Toledo and still significantly better than Rice, Temple and Florida International.
The good news for Irish fans is that they can't drop much lower, so it should be all good from here on in. Let's hope.

Notre Dame's the best team to kick whether they're up, down or anywhere between the 2. They are the Yankees of college football, complete with fans that confuse a team's past with it's present.

I hate the Notre Dame football program, but respect it. It is hard to knock ND when they are down because of the fact that is really is a fine institution. I would kill to have my sons earn a scholarship there. Hell, it would please me just fine to have them even enroll.

Well, they are a very easy target to hit right now. If they win we can always keep picking on the Kansas City Chiefs.

Yes. If they can't score a touchdown in three games, then you know that they suck. I think that the Duke Blue Devils could beat them right now and they are that bad.
