The Big Bang theory is not exactly correct. It should be modified to state that God makes it happen, or it doesn't happen at all. How can a bunch of gases and other things collide to form planets, oceans, grass, trees, humans and animals? This is a blatant violation of the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics.

How can a bunch of random gases and particles react in such a way to decrease entropy soooo DRASTICALLY, WITHOUT the help of some supernatural being (a God)? It's not possible. I'm only being reasonable.

* When I say decreased entropy, I mean decreased disorder. The gaseous state has more entropy than any other state. To go from something with so much disorder (like a bunch of gases) to something so organized and complex (like the human body, and all it's parts, especially the brain, heart and other organs) is IMPOSSIBLE!

I dare anyone to give me a good explanation as to how this could have happened without the help of a supernatural being. My religion (Islam) says that world WAS created by a bunch of explosions, caused by collisions of gases and particles (just like in the Big Bang theory), BUT that God is responsible for it.

we don't know yet.

we only discovered about 80 years ago that the universe is expanding. please give us a little time.

to Dragon up there, the laws of our physics do not apply to the big bang. Before the bang, the 4 fundamental forces were combined into 1 force. Totally different rules.

As for the entropy, the universe as a whole is tending towards entropy, small areas, like where gasses and other matter aggregate, may have temporary increases in "order". That doesn't change the general trend. And yes, a few billion years is temporary in our universe.

Existence, whether started by a Big Bang or some other method, is a mystery. Why is there something instead of nothing? Even theories like zero-point energy and vacuum-PE theories assume a pre-existing condition - the laws of nature.

It's a paradox that logical processes cannot uncover.

There was no before. There was no time. And there was no space. We cannot determin what was going on from the big bang to 10^-43 seconds after the big bang so we cannot say what caused the clock to start ticking but after that, the Planck time, we have a pretty good picture.

Nobody knows the answer to this question, but recently I was told by a person on this site that a vacuum has potential energy, the vacuum that existed before the big bang must have been the mother of all vacuums, perhaps something triggered the energy to focus into the singularity of the big bang.

Since the space and time also came into existence along with the universe at the time of big bang, what was there before t = 0 cannot be deduced.

That question opens a huge can of worms for many people. Do they believe in evolution or creationism. I on the other hand believe both can interact with each other. The universe can be measured to be hundreds of billions of years old. Therefore it had to have a beginning and some supreme power had to get it all started. Just my 2 cents.

There is a certain time called the Planck time before which it is impossible to know what went on. This time is 10 ^-43 seconds. Asking what did happen before is essentially meaningless because the question cannot, and I really mean cannot, be answered.

If the originator of the big bang theory was present during or before Our Creator constructed the substance of space and the subsance of the earth ,he would be able to know what was there before.

As Professor Stephen Hawking diligently explained, it is beyond comprehension or reasoning.it is impossible to know what existed before time started.
The secret things belong to the almighty.
he definitely created (may be thru the BB). if he didn't how can a mere combo of sub atomic part. create lifeform.
