It seems like WWE especially is in decline with Vince Mcmahon trying to grab ratings by faking his death and getting desperate for more tv viewers? Is this not true or am i right?

Even in Mexico, wrestling is not as popular as it used to be. Kids dreamed of being "La Parka" "Mistico" "El Santo" when they grew up, but not anymore. I like to watch a wrestling match every now and then, but I prefer soccer any day, like most Mexicans feel.

Since wrestling is based solely on what the WWE does right now and how well their ratings are, things are on a downward spiral.

I'm not factoring TNA into this equation because when their ratings are in the 1.0 range, can they really get any worse (ratingswise)? TNA, with the addition of the second hour, will probably capture alot of disgruntled WWE fans and try to make them happy. The two hour timeslot will probably improve their ratings though remember this, as longs as both brands are viewed on opposite nights, there is no real competition and the downward spiral for the WWE will likely continue until they have another wrestling product on an opposite channel, the same day and time.

No your right.
The Steroid scandals are hitting the WWE especially hard and that's not helping. Ratings are tanking. The Media is baying for blood. It's not a good time for Pro Wrestling right now. All is not lost however, The WWE although being at it's lowest point I have ever seen, will bounce back sooner or later. Probably though things will get worse before they start to get better.

Wrestling has always had a cyclical popularity. Right now it's pretty far down in the trench, but sooner or later it'll regain some of it's steam.

The reason nowadays is declining realism (like you said Vince's death) and the incredible boost that the UFC has been getting.

After October TNA could skyrocket

Instead of rushing matches and story lines and
CUTTING TO COMMERCIAL DURING EVERY MATCH

but we will see..btw putting WWE and ECW into separate groups is pointless..its all WWE

I still love the WWE and always will. They still sell out shows every week! Luckily, their fans are loyal!

i really don't care for the rest of the world

as long as i enjoy watching these shows then i'll root for them

the story lines, though becoming more unrealistic, are still entertaining man
