I don't think so...

I like Meriwether but that was the name of the plump fairy in Sleeping Beauty. So all I can see is a overweight, middle-aged woman.

I think that it is really cute. Old Fashioned names are coming back.
I think that Meriwether Rose is pretty, or
Meriwether:
Grace
Amelia
Brooke
Paige
Taylor
May
Rae
Lynn
Amber
Leigh

Hope this helps

Such a sweet name!

And I'll vote for Amelia's suggestion of Meriwether Rose.

I love that name! I just hope you won't give her a nickname or shorten her name to Meri or something like it. If you're going to use a name like Meriwether, then you should always use her full name. Nicknames suck!

And no, people won't shorten the name if you don't allow it....

Middle name - Grace.

i think it's cute, spelled Merriweather. It's a nice, classic name. She could go by Mary for short. How about Meriwether / Merriweather Jane / Jayne?

I like Merriweather Jayne

meriweather I think of the explorers , the name is so long , if you add middle name along with the last name you would need a whole sheet of paper . No , i don't like the name for a girl . Sorry

Love it!
Depending on how long the last name is, maybe, Elaine or some other two syllable name with the accent on the second
syllable.
