I would not really compare pregnancy symptoms to the flu. they are very different. Sometimes when you are first pregnant you feel tired and a bit sicky - but you should not feel as though you have the flu.
You can do a test as early as 4days before your missed period these days. So if you do think you are pregnat, just wait a while and take a test or go the the doc if you are concerned.

The symptoms are pretty similar. If you are pregnant you won't be running fever. Also, with pregnancy it is common to have tender breasts, not so much with the flu.
