Prison time.

Losing all ability to move anything below the neck. At the age of 21 most men are still very self absorbed and not being able to walk, write, bath, have sex etc. basically being trapped within a bed totally dependent upon some one else would be a living hell. worse yet would be if he were unable to see or speak his body would then be his prison.
