I know that short titles are better than long ones, but I was thinking, Sticks and Stones Can Break My Bones but Words Can Utterly Destroy Me.

Foolish people often have a habit of saying things that make them feel good, whether it's true or not. My mother in law had a little thing she used to say when talking about this kind of person. "Saying doesn't make it so" In other words, doesn't matter how good it makes a person feel to say something against another person, it's not worth a thing if it simply isn't true. And saying it doesn't make it true.
It's a powerful statement wrapped up in a very few words.

"Words are like weapons". I like sticks and stones too, but the title depends on what your essay is saying. If its about the words hurt, use "words are like weapons", if its about you being resilient "Sticks and Stones".

If you're typing it on a computer, it could be "Words will never hurt me", but use strikeout (a line through the middle of the word) over the "never".
