Two cycle engine oil ONLY. It is formulated as a single use lubricant. You can get it at any Home Depot or similar type store.
EDIT:
If you have to plug it in to run it then it has an electric motor which does not require oil. Then just use chain oil to lubricate the Chain. The Chain oil is sold at Home Depot etc. or you can use car oil.

Your bar and chain on any (electric or gas) chain saw needs bar and chain oil. Any good hardware or home improvement store sells it by that name. If your saw has a manual oil button, push it a lot. Check your reservoir often and keep it full. A well lubed bar and chain will last longer and cut faster.
If used oil had the same lubrication qualities as new, why would you change it?

2 cycle oil, my chain saw uses a 40/1 ratio mix with the gas. Also need chain oil for the chain lubricant.
Electric saw, you can use regular motor oil as chain oil.

I have several chainsaws.electric and gas, I am a tree farmer, my family owns a large tree farm. use 2 cycle oil buy a small bottle and add it to a gallon of reg gas. for the chain bar we use cheap 30 weight oil from dollar general or we just use saved oil from oil changes on the farm. any oil will do for lubrication of the chain bar as long as it is motor oil. I am old school I will fill a coke bottle with used motor oil and shove some pine straw down in the top . this makes a perfect applicator for a chain bar. relying solely on the internal oil to lube the chain bar can cause premature chain failure. I keep my chains well oiled ,

Oil is used in two areas, one in the gas for 2 cycle and in a chain oil reservoir. The owners manual recommends what type of oil to use. No manual then get on web to manufactures site have model number handy.

Chain saws require a specific oil which you can purchase at a saw dealer or some hardware stores.Definitely two cycle oil.

2 Stroke engine oil mixed with gas!!! Follow the chainsaw mix ratio! You can always add a lillte more oil for extra engine lubrication. It will just smoke more and foul the spark plug early. Engine will last a lot longer tho. You can use the 10-3-/40 motor oil for chain lube!!!! Make sure to use gloves and be safe when trimming trees. always think of each cut !!
